Helping Reactive Dogs Huddersfield

Hi there, I’m afraid I’ve had to close the business until at least the end of 2026.  I had a monumental mountain bike accident, that I’m extremely lucky to still be here, never mind now working towards what should be a full recovery. Many miracles happened that day with help from an army of wonderful people.

Holme Valley Mountain Rescue explain it far better than I could:

HVMRT Incident Summary

The list of people I can never thank enough includes Mike, the lone fell runner who was first to me; Yorkshire Air Ambulance; Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Ropes/Paramedic/Water teams; Hazardous Area Rescue Teams; Fire Service Water Rescue; Coastguard Helicopter. All I could see were the sometimes changing 2 faces above me, unsurprisingly I was unaware that everywhere was just a hive of activity but must've been 50+ people involved. Absolutely amazing....in hindsight.

Remarkably both Mountain Rescue and Yorkshire Air Ambulance exist purely from public/corporate donations. If you’re inspired to help them help someone else out:
